A Wichita woman has been charged with a series of weekend car break-ins.

Officers arrested Tiffany Burchfiel, 29, Monday. She was one of several suspects wanted in connection to a recent spike of auto burglaries. Police said they crimes are occurring all over the city, near homes and businesses.

Burchfiel is charged with eight counts of burglary, eight counts of theft, 10 counts of criminal use of a financial card, and one count of forgery. She remains behind bars on $100,000 bond.

She will return to court March 19 for a preliminary hearing.
