Ex-lover arrested for attempted murder

A woman has been booked into the Reno County jail accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend in the leg.

Officers were called to a disturbance in 300 block of N. Kent around 7 p.m. Wednesday. The victim, Kevin Tinin, was flown to a Wichita hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.

Deputies arrested Barbara Youngblood, 47, several hours after the shooting. She was booked into the Reno County detention center on attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and criminal threat charges.

Youngblood remains jailed on $536,500 bond.

The shooting remains under investigation.
