A sheriff's detective was in the right place at the right time Friday morning.
Around 11:30, a man walked into Wells Fargo at 455 S. West street and robbed it. Bank workers called 911 and dispatchers put out a description of the man. A sheriff's detective in the area spotted the suspect and arrested him within minutes of the robbery.
Wichita police say the man walked into the bank and demanded money. He indicated that he had a gun. He did get away with money.
Police say he didn't resist arrest.
There were about a dozen workers and customers inside the bank during the robbery.
