A judge denies lowering the bond for a Kingman husband accused of murdering his wife.

Brett Seacat wanted his $1 million dollar bond lowered. He's in jail accused of killing Vashti Seacat and setting their home on fire.

Seacat's attorney was arguing that a $50-$100 thousand bond was more appropriate because he said Seacat is not a flight risk. He was also arguing there was evidence questioning exactly how his wife died.

Authorities found Vashti's body in the couples home in Kingman after an early morning fire on April 30th.
