Three Wichita residents have been indicted on federal charges of trying to sell $18,000 worth of methamphetamine to an undercover officer.
40 year old Jesus Ibarra-Diaz, 20 year old Ana Valeriano-Trejo, and 30 year old Ricardo Estrada of Wichita, are charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Investigators say they found a pound of methamphetamine in their car.
They found another pound of meth at 742 W. 46th North in Wichita, where Ibarra-Diaz and Valeriano-Trejo were living.
If convicted, the three face a penalty of not less than five years and not more than 40 years in federal prison and a fine up to $2 million.
