Police in Salina arrest a woman in a raid on what investigators call a "place of prostitution."

An employee from an tattoo shop across the street saw police around surrounding a massage parlor at 116 E Iron.

"I was coming back from getting something for lunch and I was pulling in and I saw an officer with a tactical vest on and I kind of wondered what was going on," Spencer Foster said.

The 47-year-old woman was taken into custody at a massage parlor. She faces prostitution charges. Authorities say she was the only person who worked there.

Lt. Jim Norton said the investigation was conducted by the special enforcement bureau after they received complaints of possible prostitution at the business. "I do believe the neighborhood, the resident's, the businesses in that area were affected by the activity, they didn't like what they were seeing. We were contacted by several businesses in the area."

Police say an undercover officer helped with the investigation. They also said that the woman's husband was a co-owner and they are looking into his involvement.

Authorties say they have identified 8 male clients that could possibly face charges.
