You pay big bucks for a manicure or paint your nails at home only to scratch them up a few minutes later.  It's all because the nail polish wouldn't dry fast enough.

This week, we test a nail polish that's never wet to begin with.  It's called the Avon Instant Manicure.

The concept is simple, just peel off the strips, find the size tab that fits your finger and use your thumb to cut it off at the end of your nail.

It may look simple, but the ladies who tested them for us say - the tabs just don't stick well.  They tell us, the tabs look cheap and sloppy.  They'd rather use them for a kid's birthday than on themselves in a job interview.

They say, the Avon Instant Manicure just doesn't work.

We contacted the company, they say - their tests show a majority of customers like the product and they say it takes practice to perfect using it.  Although the range of tab size didn't work for our testers, the company says 16 tabs in each packet gives a variety of sizes to choose from.

Still, all three of our testers stand by their opinions.
