Picking the right bottle of wine can be tough...

Especially when you finally find one ---only to discover it's supposed to be enjoyed years from now---not tonight!

What if you could age that bottle of wine years just like that---so you don't have to wait...

Meet one of the hottest devices in the wine market....the nearly $90 Clef du Vin...

Every second it's copper colored tip is dipped in the wine is supposed to make that wine taste like's it's aged one -year.

We treat half our glasses of wine for five seconds----aiming for five years....and don't treat the other half.

Then we serve one of each to our first set of testers...

The KFDI morning crew...but they don't know which is which...You can taste a distinct difference.

Do you taste a difference? nah...

Next up, same french red wine...

But this time it's three wine experts from Jacob Liquor.

I can tell a difference...definitely.

The one on the right is more approachable..softer... The fruit more

forthcoming. The one of the left is dryer...more tart...

Only problem....

Then this isn't wine that would age well....

That may have been generous to the device because in the next test ----a california red---- i "aged" the glass on the guys' right---supposedly for five years...

But...

One better than the other? not for me...

Definitely not 5 years difference...
