SurveyUSA interviewed 2,000 adults from the city of Wichita, and from the cities of Bel Aire, Kechi, and Park City, Kansas, which are included in Unified School District 259.

Of the 2000 adults, 1,620 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 1,333 identified themselves as Wichita residents. Of them, 598 were determined to be likely to vote or to have already voted in the race for Wichita mayor. Of the 1,620 registered voters, 1,073 identified themselves as USD 259 residents. of them, 420 were determined to be likely to vote or to have already voted in the USD 259 school board election. All USD 259 residents can vote in all board of education races, regardless of district.
