If you think you pay a lot for child care, you're right.  Kansas is ranked among the top ten states for least affordable child care. 

New York tops the list.  Nearly half of a single mom's income goes to child care there. 

Kansas is 7th on the list of least affordable states.  The report by Child Care Aware of America says 35% of a single mother's income in Kansas goes to child care.  More than 11% of a two parent family's income goes to child care expenses.
