Candy Flavored Malt Liquor. Lemonade. Fruit punch. Blue Berry.
But it's not just the flavors and colors in the can, there's caffeine. Lots and lots of caffeine. This is basically an alcoholic energy drink.
"They're all unsafe," said Katie Speier, a studetn at Cal State Sacramento. "I don't trust any of them, They're coming out with new ones to get the younger demographic."
Doctors agree that they're dangerous, saying the caffeine combined with the alcohol leaves drinkers dehydrated and unaware they've had too much. Or even way too much.
Oh... and there's another thing about this stuff: it's cheap.
At under three bucks a can, one Four Loko has as much alcohol as about 5 cans of beer.
iving sweetness is what makes Four Loko a favorite player in internet chug videos, and it might be one reason it's so familiar to under-aged drinkers.
We asked Sac State Freshman Breanna and Kaitlin is they'd tried it.
"Yeah," they both laughed in unison. "I think it makes you more drunk than most. More hyper... more energy," Breanna said.
