SAN PEDRO, Calif. (KTLA) -- Police are looking for a purse snatcher who targeted an elderly disabled woman in San Pedro.
The incident happened on Sept. 2 at a Ralphs supermarket on N. Western Avenue in San Pedro, according to police.
Surveillance video shows the disabled woman shopping in an aisle inside the store.
When she turns away to get an item off the shelf, another woman takes her purse out of her cart.
The disabled woman repeatedly falls to the floor as she tries to chase after the suspect, who looks to be about in her 20s.
The purse-snatcher dropped the purse in another aisle and got away, police said.
The victim suffered minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
