TEXAS -- People are debating whether or not a police officer in Texas handled a traffic stop appropriately.

The officer made a routine stop, but the woman behind the wheel didn't want to cooperate. The entire incident was recorded on video.

"Alright, let's hurry up, I've got to go to the bathroom," 77-year-old Lynn Bedford tells the officer.

"Let me see your driver's license and insurance please," the officer asks.

"I have a bladder infection," Bedford responds, prompting the officer to again ask for her license and insurance.

"I'll give it to you in a minute," Bedford says, and the officer tells her to hand it over immediately or go to jail.

The officer grabs her arm and pulls, and instructs her to get out of the vehicle.

"I'm going to report you for hurting me," Bedford says. "You twisted my arm."

The officer then proceeds to pull Bedford out of the car.

The police chief went to the scene taht day, and after talking to both parties, Bedford was released.

Her arm was bruised -- apparently during the incident. Her attorney says the officer went too far, and she wants an apology.
