The Kansas Cosmosphere is one of the more well known attractions on the Wonders of Kansas list.  As the president of the Cosmosphere put it, the museum shouldn't be where it is in Hutchinson.  But thanks to the work of many, it's considered one of the finest space museums in the world.

A trip to Hutchinson takes about an hour and is about 50 miles from Wichita.  While at the museum, you can also watch IMAX movies, see a planetarium show, and visit Dr. Goddard's Lab.  Ticket prices for all of the attractions are $13.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors over 60 and $10.50 for children five through 12.

Also while in Hutchinson, you can visit the other Wonder candidate the Underground Salt Museum.  Watch for that story October 27th.
