A charity sponsored by former Sen. Bob Dole aims at helping seniors who may not have the money to buy food.
It's called Bob Boxes. The Kansas Food Bank started the program a couple of months ago.
Joyce Besand is one of the many who are thankful for the campaign. "It's been a great help to me because I've got so many medical problems now. I think they work very well at it and stuff to try and help the seniors and i'm very thankful for it, very, very thankful that they've got it. "
Bob Boxes is just one of the Kansas Food Bank's many efforts to help the community. The weekend's annual Harvest of Hope Food Drive is Saturday morning from eight o'clock to ten o'clock.
