A cold front is moving through Kansas this morning and is expected to pass through the entire state by afternoon.  The only notable change will be a shift in the wind direction from south to north.  Moisture is limited and no precipitation will occur with this system over Kansas.  Temperatures today will be much cooler for western Kansas where highs reach the 60s and 70s yesterday, while only slightly cooler for areas of central and eastern Kansas.  Highs will be in the 50s statewide.

Behind the cold front clouds will be on the increase tonight, becoming mostly cloudy by morning.  Colder air will also move into Kansas from the northern plains.  Temperatures overnight will be in the 20s for most, with lower 30s across south central and southeast Kansas.

Coats and jackets will be in order for Monday as cloudy skies and northerly winds will make for a much cooler and "raw" start to the work week. Clouds will be on the decrease towards late evening.  Northerly winds will be gusting to 25-30 m.p.h.  Afternoon highs on Monday will be in the 40s.

Another chilly day on Tuesday, before a warming trend commences this week.  Dry weather conditions will prevail.
