Today will be the warmest day over the next 7 days.  A cloud or two may pass through the state otherwise sunny skies and mild temperatures for late December, highs will be in the 40s to mid-50s. The wind will turn to the north across western Kansas as a "dry" cold front moves through the area.

The cold front moves through the entire state tonight ushering in colder air.  Overnight lows in the teens and 20s.  Sunday looks much colder with highs in the 30s and low 40s with increasing clouds.

There is a chance for light snow on Christmas Day, but a blizzard or heavy snowfall is not likely.  One thing is very certain, it will be frigid with highs in the 20s and 30s through the remainder of the week.
