Sunny skies today, "warmer" than yesterday but still chilly. Temperatures should end up between 35-40 degrees around the state with winds shifting to the west. High pressure nearby should keep the winds on the lighter side compared to yesterday. That high pressure, will move to the south tonight and with increasing high clouds and southerly winds temperatures should drop into the teens to near 20.
Clouds will be increasing on Sunday ahead of the next approaching storm system. Highs in the 30s to mid 40s. The wind will also increase on Sunday, from the south, so even with slightly warmer temperatures the wind will make it feel chilly.
The next storm system will move over the area on Monday, bringing a chance for light snow to Kansas on Monday. Light accumulations (perhaps 2 or 3 inches) will be possible over central and southern Kansas by Monday afternoon. This is not expected to be a major storm, but some roads may become slick for New Year's Eve revelers.
