Early morning flurries and patchy light snow brought a fresh dusting to parts of eatern Kansas but by Wednesday afternoon we should see some sunshine find temperatures on a slow warming trend for the next few days.

Wednesday afternoon look for decreasing clouds with gusty northwest winds throughout the day. Highs will climb into the mid to upper-30s but will feel cooler with wind chills factored in.

Afternoon highs are expected to stay in the 30s the rest of the week because the snow cover is still rather deep over much of the state.

Skies should stay snowstorm-free over Kansas and our weather will be dry through this weekend.
