A fast moving storm system will slide through our area Monday afternoon bringing Kansas gusty northerly winds and tumbling temperatures through Tuesday.

We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies Monday along with gusty northerly winds. A few sprinkles are on the way to northern Kansas with a few flurries possibly mixing in over the northwest. Afternoon Highs Monday will range from the low to mid-40s west to around 55 over the southeast.

Tuesday will be bright but brisk by March standards with gusty northwest winds and afternoon highs only climbing into the low to mid 40s.

Much warmer weather is expected for mid to late week with highs soaring into the 60s and even a few 70s possible around southwest Kansas.
