Quiet weather is expected across Kansas for midweek as an area of high pressure remains in the area. Temperatures will be a few degrees below normal for much of the state.

Other than a few clouds overnight, the skies will generally be clear with lows in the mid 30s for much of the state. Frost is expected to be patchy, and mainly in low lying areas. The winds will should be very light out of the north.

Wednesday afternoon, south winds will increase throughout western Kansas. Temperatures will be in the 65-70 degree range for much of the state with lighter south winds across central Kansas.

Another cold front will drop into the area on Thursday, which will lead to a wide variety of temperatures for the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 60s north to near 80 in Wichita.
