A big change in temperatures is coming to Kansas very soon. A strong cold front will push through Kansas Saturday night and by Sunday, temperatures will be dipping below normal for a change.
Clouds will be thinning out overnight with lows in the low 20s west and around 30 in south central Kansas. The wind is expected to be light.
On Saturday, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, but dry weather should continue. Afternoon highs are expected to be near 50 over much of the state with a return to south winds in the afternoon.
The cold front will arrive Saturday night, and Sunday looks very windy and colder. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s early Sunday, but will be steady or falling during the afternoon. Wind chills will be in the 20s with cloudy skies. A few flurries may accompany the colder air, but snow accumulation is not expected in any part of Kansas.
