Colder temperatures will be around for the start of the week as a Canadian high pressure system settles over Kansas.
Lows tonight will be in the single digits for central and western Kansas, but should be around 12 for Wichita. Wind chills will go subzero for much of the night. Skies are expected to clear out.
On Monday, we will have some sunshine, but it's expected to stay rather chilly. Highs will be in the 35-40 degree range for much of the state, and the wind should turn to the west or southwest at 10-15 mph.
