Clear to mostly clear skies will be the rule tonight and into Wednesday. Overnight lows will drop to the teens and 20s. Wednesday afternoon's highs will be even warmer than Tuesday, with lower 50s around south central Kansas. Middle to upper 50s will be found over western Kansas.
Quiet weather is expected into Thursday before a storm system organizes over the southwestern United States and moves to the northeast. This system should arrive into Kansas late Friday, bringing increasing clouds and a chance of rain and snow to the state. At this point, amounts look light.
A slightly cooler weekend will prevail for the state.
