After waiting over a month, it will finally rain again in Kansas, but it won't make much of a dent in the drought.
Clouds will increase overnight, but dry weather should continue into Friday morning. Lows will dip down into the upper 20s for the west, but should be in the mid 30s for central Kansas.
Some sunshine is expected early Friday, but clouds will quickly take over during the day with scattered showers developing during the late afternoon hours. An isolated storm is possible, but rainfall amounts are expected to be 0.25" or less. The rain will continue moving east during the evening hours. Ice and snow is not expected in Kansas.
Dry weather returns for the weekend with temperatures mainly in the 50s.
