Areas of showers and a few rumbles of thunder are out there this evening, moving to the northeast. Areas of rain and rumbles should continue through the Midnight hour, with most totals a quarter of an inch or less, however a few spots may get slightly more.  Overnight lows will fall back to the 20s, 30s and 40s.

On Saturday, the majority of the clouds will be found in northern Kansas with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies south.  Highs will reach the low to mid 50s for most.

More clouds are expected over the area Saturday night and a few flurries may fall in western Kansas.  Partly cloudy skies will rule for the second half of the weekend with highs in the 40s to near 50 degrees.

A slight warm up will kick in through the middle of the work week, with a cooling trend for Thursday and Friday.
