A clear and chilly night is ahead for Kansas, especially in the snow-covered areas of the state. Those spots will likely fall to single digits or very close to it! Elsewhere, teens are expected.
The second half of your weekend will definitely live up to its namesake: "Sun"-day! Highs will be just a little bit cooler in Wichita tomorrow afternoon but you really won't be able to tell. Highs will top out in the upper 30s to lower to middle 40s. By tomorrow afternoon, it will turn a little breezy in the northwest.
More wind and warmth are on tap Monday with highs in the 40s to near 50 degrees.
The next storm system is scheduled to arrive around Wednesday into Thursday.
