There will be plenty of cold air around for the start of the week, but temperatures will be on a warming trend heading toward midweek.
Overnight, high clouds will begin moving our way with lows in the single digits for much of Kansas. Winds should be rather light and dry weather is expected.
Monday will be mostly cloudy across the west, with partly cloudy skies central and east. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s for much of western Kansas, but should be around 30 in central and south central Kansas. The wind is once again expected to be rather light. A few flurries may fall over far western Kansas heading into Monday night, but it's not expected to amount to anything more than a trace.
Much of the state will rebound into the mid 30s for highs Tuesday, and should be in the upper 40s by midweek. Dry weather is expected for the next 10-14 days around the central US.
