Light snow is expected over parts of Kansas through the night, and temperatures heading through the middle of the week will stay rather chilly.
Overnight, light snow will spread across central and northern Kansas. Accumulations will be minimal, with some areas possibly seeing up to one inch, but most areas will get just a light dusting. Temperatures will fall into the teens and 20s with north winds.
For Wednesday, sunshine will return with temperatures in the 30s around much of the state. The winds are expected to be gusty from the northwest throughout the day.
Temperatures are expected to moderate some by the end of the week.
