The mild weather will continue through the middle of the week with a chance for much needed moisture Wednesday night.
Skies will be mostly clear overnight with lows in the 30s around Kansas. The winds are expected to be out of the southeast.
Clouds will quickly take over on Wednesday with a cold front moving into the area. Highs will be around 60 over much of Kansas with gusty south winds expected.
The chance for rain will increase Wednesday night for central and south central Kansas. Places like McPherson, Hutch, Wichita, Winfield, and El Dorado could see rainfall amounts between .25" and .50", but a few areas could pick up a little bit more. There is also a chance for some thunderstorms, but severe weather is not likely.
Rain could still be around early Thusday, but the afternoon will be dry with highs in the 50s.
