As one storm moves away overnight, the wind will be going down statewide, but another storm comes our way for Tuesday, bringing a chance for snow.

Skies will be mostly clear overnight with decreasing winds and lows in the 20s central and east, but should be dipping down into the teens across the west.

For Monday, skies will be mostly sunny, except in the far west where more clouds will arrive during the afternoon. The wind will continue to go down during the day and will most likely stay out of the north. Highs will be in the upper 30s northwest, to upper 40s in south central Kansas.

Clouds will be coming in Monday night and Tuesday. Snow is expected to develop in southwest Kansas very early Tuesday, and then spread across southern Kansas Tuesday afternoon. The best chance for snow will be south of Hwy 56, and accumulations will be light. Only an inch or two is possible over southern Kansas by late Tuesday night.
