The latest storm system to bring snow to southern Kansas will be moving away overnight and much of the state will see a milder day on Wednesday.
Lows will drop into the teens for the northwest with mid 20s around south central Kansas. The winds will be out of the northwest and under 15 mph.
Mostly sunny skies return for Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 50s. The warmest readings will be across the west. The wind will pick up from the northwest, and could gust as high as 25 mph during the afternoon.
Thursday will see an increase in clouds with a few flurries in western Kansas during the evening.
Colder weather is coming back for the end of the week with highs in the 30s for Friday. A few flurries will be possible, but no accumulation expected.
