The bones discovered near Winfield over the weekend have been identified as a missing man from the area.  The Cowley County Undersheriff says the remains belong to 37-year-old Corbin Wilt.

A dog discovered a bone over the weekend.  The sheriff's department searched the area and found more human bones, including teeth.

The undersheriff says at this point, there's no evidence of foul play but they are still investigating Wilt's cause of death.

In May 2012, Wilt's wife reported him missing.  No one has seen him since.
