An electrical fire in the attic of an east Wichita home causes aroudn $10,000 damage. Crews were called to the home in the 2800 block of E. 1st Street shortly before noon.
Two people were home at the time. They noticed smoke and called 911. Fire crews tell us the fire damaged the attic and one of the upstairs rooms. If the residents hadn't noticed it as quickly as they did, things could have been much worse.
No one was hurt.
