Two people were sent to the hospital, one of them with potentially critical injuries after a crash at I-235 and MacArthur Friday morning.
Police at the scene tell us a small SUV was headed north on I-235 when it left the roadway and struck a guardrail. The truck then went across the median and into another guard rail - taking out a utility pole in the process - before striking a pickup which was headed south.
Two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital, the driver of the pickup is okay.
No word on why the SUV left the roadway in the first place.
