(AUGUSTA, Kan.)—
Fire crews in Augusta spent their morning putting out a fire at a mobile home. Crews were called to the 1200 block of Money Street shortly after 9:00 Wednesday morning.
The fire started around a wood-burning stove, though the exact cause of the fire is unknown.
It was a particularly dangerous fire for firefighters because mobile homes have weak floors and the floor of this home was already caving in by the time they got there.
Damage is estimated at $40,000.
No one was hurt.
