Police in Marshall County are looking for a man who apparently threatened to kill police officers.  According to Marshall County Sheriff Dan Hargrave, the 27-year-old man was leaving a bar in Barneston, Nebraska and made statements that he was going to Kansas and was going to kill police officers.

According to the report, the suspect, Kyle Joekel, was considered armed and dangerous and has ties to a terrorist organization. The report also stated that Joekel may be headed for Summerfield, Kansas.  Shortly after 10:00 Sunday, police in Marysville saw the man's car speeding into town.

Police started chasing the suspect, who left town headed toward Oketo, Kansas.

The chase ended in Oketo when the suspect wrecked into two parked vehicles, one of which was pushed up into a house. Two people were inside the home, neither was hurt.

A passenger in the suspect's car was arrested at the scene, but Joekel left the scene on foot.  Authorities from several organizations have been involved in a manhunt since the incident.

Police have not released any additional information.
