A 59-year-old Smith County man is dead after a crash late Wednesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, David Beckham of Gaylord, Kansas was headed west on 240th Road when he lost control on a curve near U-281 at around 7:00 pm.
KHP says Beckham's Silverado went into a ditch and struck an embankment before coming to rest in a field.
He was killed in the crash. KHP says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
No one else was hurt. No
