Emergency crews are called in to rescue a woman who was trapped in a garbage truck.  We're told the woman was looking for valuables inside a dumpster behind the Big Lots near Harry and Oliver around 4:30 Thursday morning.

At that time, a garbage crew drove up to unload the dumpster.  That's when the truck dumped the woman into the truck.  The trash truck operator says he was just about to compact the load when the woman's sister came up and yelled that her sister was in his truck.

"That's scary you got a live human back there and there's no other way to get her out except a boom truck of some kind that's seven or eight foot deep in there so there's no way to just jump in and drag her out.  Just a second or two I was going to hit the button and pack the load and she would have been crushed," the driver said.

The woman was pulled from the truck less than an hour later.  She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
