Turkeys, potatoes and all the other essentials for a full-course holiday dinner attracted thousands to the Bread of Life Food Pantry's Thanksgiving giveaway.

"I'm very thankful," Irene Deere says.  The young mother says food stamps are not enough to keep her family well fed.

The event always attracts a big crowd, but not always as big as this year.  People started lining up at midnight--nine hours before the doors opened.  However, nobody walked away empty handed.

"I think it's a great deal," Deanna Scott says.  "It's a godsend."

Living Word Outreach is a local church that foots much of the bill.

Pantry director Donna Pinaire says she's amazed at the way her organization is able to feed so many needy families.

"God came through in such a big way!" Pinaire says.  "It's awesome the way he came through!"
