Kay Olson was shocked 5 years ago, when she heard what happened to her friend.
"I still can't believe it," Olson said. "I mean I can't understand why someone would do that to someone. I don't know the answer to that. It's sad is what it is."
Olson's friend, Beverly Logan was found dead on her kitchen floor on January 21, 2008.
Investigators say a coworker called police for a welfare check, when the 56-year old nursing assistant didn't show up to work.
Although years have passed, Logan's friends still remember her fondly.
"She was really quiet, actually, till you got to know her and then she was real friendly," Olson said. "She was a good person."
Investigators say they are still making progress in the case and are still receiving tips.
"Nothing that comes in, we don't follow up on," Investigator Sean Furbeck said.
Until investigators get the break they need, Logan's friends and family will continue wondering who took Logan away from them.
"I don't think the girl had any enemies," Olson said.
If you have any information call Crimestoppers, there is an $11,000 reward.
