Many are so busy preparing food for Thanksgiving, they're not about to cook tonight. That's where those take out menus come in handy.

The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest of the year for pizza places. Knolla's Pizza has a full staff prepared for the large number of orders.

Not only will they stay busy tossing dough and loading pizzas, but the delivery drivers will also have a hard time keeping up.

At Knolla's Pizza they called in extra drivers to keep up with the orders.  The owner says that's usually not a problem.  The delivery drivers often volunteer for the duty to get the extra tips.

"People are a little more generous in the holiday season, too," said Knolla's co-owner Darinda Cook.  "So the drivers make great money."

Cook says between take-outs, catered orders and deliveries Knolla's could sell more than 700 pizzas Wednesday.

Nearby, the chefs at Picadilly's Deli stayed busy preparing turkeys, stuffing, gravy, and all the fixings for dozens of Wichita families.  Turkey and gravy were the most popular items.

"It used to be a, you know, a few turkeys here and there. And now it has grown.  It's getting to be bigger and bigger every year," said chef and co-owner Randa Toubia.  "I mean If I were a turkey breast today they would have eaten me!"
