Wichita students will not have school Thursday. The district announced all buildings will be closed because of the expected worsening weather conditions.
The basketball games scheduled for Thursday night, February 21, will be rescheduled for Friday night, February 22. In addition, there will be a two-hour delay for all state wrestling events on Friday, February 22. Student athletes involved in this competition will receive additional information from their coaches.
The district says because of the challenges involved in clearing sidewalks and parking lots on all of our campuses, all school and non-attendance centers will be closed Thursday and employees do not have to report to work.
