Wichita police are looking for a 35-year-old suspect after an early morning shooting. Police were called to the 800 block of S. Drury Lane shortly after 1:00 Thursday morning.
They found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was taken the hospital in critical condition, but his injuries turned out to be less serious. He was treated and released.
Police say the man was in a home with a woman around 1:00 when the suspect came in and started striking the with a gun. The gun went off during the attack, hitting the victim in the shoulder.
Police say the victim and suspect know each other. They know who the suspect is but he has not yet been arrested.
