(HAVEN, Kan.)—
A Haven student has been expelled from school after stealing a district gas card. The student took the card from an agricultural class last October. Investigators said the student then gave the card to an adult, who used the card to purchase more than 700 gallons of diesel fuel.
The school noticed the card was missing last month after receiving an $8,000 bill.
Two other adults are also involved in the case. No arrests have been made.
The case has been turned over to the Reno County District Attorney's office for official charges.
