Wichita police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting a teenager at a north Wichita party.
It happened in the 2300 block of North Fairview, but police were not notified about the crime until the victim arrived at the hospital.
The 19-year-old man told police he was at a party, when a man in a red mustang convertible fired two shots. The bullets struck the victim in the shoulder and leg. The teenager told police he walked from the party to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, which is a little more than five miles.
Other information is available. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call 911.
