The heat of summer is often the hottest time to hold a garage sale.
"When you look around, signs are just all over the place," says John David Burkholder.
One of those signs is in Ashley Bowen Cook's front yard.
Step into the driveway, rows of tables and clothes racks make Sshely's sale appear more retail than garage.
"I really think its going to make a difference," says Ashley Bowen Cook.
"The more you put into your garage sale, the more money your going to make," says Burkholder.
John David Burkholder is a Garage Sale Guru, its not a nickname but the name of his new business.
"With one shot you could consolidate all of your needs," says Burkholder.
Inside John David's mini van is everything he says a homeowner needs for a successful garage sale.
Tables, signs, racks and pricing stickers.
He delivers it to the doorstep.
His idea came after being laid off, needing a way to make money he decided to capitalize on an approach other people take to make quick cash.
One month later, John David has a dozen clients.
He says with his marketing and tips homeowners can sell twice as much.
"I think more people would be prone to doing a garage sale if they didn't have to deal with the before and after,"says Cook.
Which is why when its over, John David hauls away what's left.
Garage Sale Gurus services start at around $50.
