Four people are recovering from injuries after a fight broke out outside a southeast Wichita bar.
Officers responded to the scene at Southrock Billiards, 2020 S. Rock Rd., around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police said two men and two women were leaving the business, when one of the women recognized another man in the parking lot. The two hugged each other, and police said the woman's current boyfriend thought the public display of affection lasted too long.
Both men yelled at each other before the fight turned violent. The two parties started attacking each other.
Two men and two women were taken by a private vehicle to Via Christi Hospital on St. Joe for treatment. Two of the victims had to be transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis because their injuries were more serious. An update on their condition is not known.
At least one person suffered stab wounds during the attack.
Police are still searching for a suspect in connection to the crime.
