A day before President Obama arrived in Kansas the secret service visited a Salina man.

Authorities were concerned because of comments he made on Facebook and Twitter.

Neil Jednoralski says he had it all planned out. "I had a pair of high security handcuffs that i was going to use to handcuff him".

The 65 year-old Salina man says he was ready to drive to Osawatomie and simply wait for his chance to get to close enough to President Obama.

"I was going to arrest him and drive him to Topeka and turn him over to the state attorney general".

Jednoralski still questions President Obama’s citizenship and was ready to make a citizen’s arrest because of it.

The Salina man made his plans very public especially on Twitter and Facebook.

The secret service learned of the arrest attempt, rove to Salina on Monday and showed up on Jednoralski’s front door.

Once the secret service entered his house they confiscated two hand guns, a shotgun, a rifle and the high security handcuffs planned for the arrest attempt.

"I really did not want to surrender my firearms”, says Jednoralski.

The secret service told Jednoralski if he showed up in Osawatomie he would be arrested...so he decided to stay away.

"If he (Obama) comes to Kansas again I will try it again", added Jednoralski.

The Saline County sheriff's office is holding all of the confiscated firearms. Jednoralski says he will be able to get his guns and handcuffs back Tuesday evening.
