The Wichita school board will meet Monday to discuss plans for one of the city's high schools.
The plans are part of the the 2008 bond issue.
There are talks to expand southeast high school or build a new one altogether.
Some local lawmakers and residents say they'll fight to keep Southeast high school open.
"We don't our neighborhoods going backwards, we want our neighborhoods going forward and it's very important that a school that's been a part of this neighborhood for so long, that it stays. it rips at the fabric," says James Clendenin, City Council for District 3.
The school board will meet at North high school monday at 6pm.
